Sleeping in our fine houses.

Haggai 1:3-6 'Then the LORD sent this message through the prophet Haggai: “Why are you living in luxurious houses while my house lies in ruins? This is what the LORD of Heaven’s Armies says: Look at what’s happening to you! You have planted much but harvest little. You eat but are not satisfied. You drink but are still thirsty. You put on clothes but cannot keep warm. Your wages disappear as though you were putting them in pockets filled with holes!'
After reading this passage, the house of the lord which is in ruin was a concrete massive building in the old testament but in the new testament; it has been transformed from a none living thing to a living being; the temple of the lord is now in the body of men.
For the Lord is saying that, we have left our spiritual life in God to remain in ruin while we give more time to things of the flesh, we even spend so much money to keep it looking spotless; rebuilding and maintaining  other things apart from a timeout with God, we have separated ourselves from his word and everything that pertains to him. This is why we go through hard time, frustration, high blood pressure, sicknesses, dissatisfaction, greed, hatred for your co-worker. Why?
The reason is so that we can have more time for our businesses, families, studies, friends, gist and even such a thing as 'nothing' but if we realise that all these things will pass away but the only thing that would remain is our soul and spirit, God's temple that we have left to wither away while we satisfy our flesh.
Let us arise all daughter's of Zion and fan the flames within us. Let us rebuild the walls of worship and praise in the lord's temple. Make an extra effort to unite with your father today.
