LOVE IS ETERNAL

1corinthain 13 described one of the most used word 'LOVE' , some people would even say it is the most overused word. The same word can be used to express strong passion for both animate and inanimate objects, expressing so much affection for the objects. Some misuse it by saying they love when they actually liked the thing.



love is stronger than showing habitual compassion towards our loved ones, it is greater than that, it not only extends to unlovable people, it also creates a new world around us, which never ends, it extends to the live after death of every man.

 "Love is eternal. There are inspired messages, but they are temporary; there are gifts of speaking in strange tongues, but they will cease; there is knowledge, but it will pass. For our gifts of knowledge and of inspired messages are only partial; but when what is perfect comes, then what is partial will disappear.  When I was a child, my speech, feelings, and thinking were all those of a child; now that I am an adult, I have no more use for childish ways. What we see now is like a dim image in a mirror; then we shall see face-to-face. What I know now is only partial; then it will be complete—as complete as God's knowledge of me.  Meanwhile these three remain: faith, hope, and love; and the greatest of these is love."

love is the law that governs the heavens and the earth, God created us by his love, he also saves us by the same love(John3:16) "for God so loved the world that he gave his son, that whosoever believe would not parish but have everlasting live." Any man that doesn't love, doesn't know God, for God himself is Love.

1John 4: 7-12 "Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 10This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 11Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.

The real love is not in words alone but also in action. A love expressed or shown to another stays on that person's heart for eternity and also in God's record, so let's not withdraw from doing good or being nice to our neighbor.
