secret of a good long life

Reading the book of the proverb has always being very inspiring and educational, I have also been encourage by two people to read the book of proverbs, a chapter per day for a month coincidentally it has  31 chapters and it would take less than 10 minutes to go through a chapter in a day.  You find wisdom stepping out of the letters of the book to the reader, a perfect book for wisdom seekers.

looking at Proverbs 21:21 says, "He who tries to act justly and kindly will prosper and obtain justice and honor", meaning that to act justly and kindly is not be easy or comfortable, so we have to try, efforts has to be made to lead a kind, honest, righteous and just life. The Goodnews translation says; "be kind and honest, and you will live a long life, others will respect You and treat you fairly.

We need to submit to God to help us do what he requires of us in Micah 6:8, which is to do justly, love mercy and walk with God humbly, for the reward is prosperity, long life, and honour from men.

In summary, let's try to be kind and do what is right and just then you would prosper, live long and gain honour.
