So when the savings meltdown with the global economy, suicide is not the option but hope and trust in God for the future is the peace God gives.
John 14:27(NIV) "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." This means that he is leaving us with a gift-- peace of mind and heart. And the peace he gives is a gift the world cannot give. So don't be troubled or afraid.
The peace of this world is tangible, people employ watchmen for them to sleep peacefully, peace to the world is to carry along a knife or a gun as defence, to get a government job for job security, to acquire as much money as possible, to build one's own house but the peace God gives is divine, from above and supernatural, the one that natural eyes can't see, but only through our eyes of faith with our hope and security resting upon him.
