Ant School

The ANT SCHOOL was created by God, and the school was launched by the wise great king Solomon, he mentioned that when a man takes a lesson from that school, his life would be transformed forever. The ants work so hard, build good homes, tend herds and fill their stores in the summer, they grow their gardens and they fight their wars; some labour long, some rule while some stand guard. (Proverbs 30: 25 'Ants--they aren't strong, but they store up food all summer.')

Take a lesson from the ants, you lazybones.

Learn from their ways and become wise!

Though they have no prince

or governor or ruler to make them work,

they labor hard all summer,

gathering food for the winter.

But you, lazybones, how long will you sleep?

When will you wake up?

A little extra sleep, a little more slumber,

a little folding of the hands to rest—

then poverty will pounce on you like a bandit;

scarcity will attack you like an armed robber.

Let us use the acronym of the ANT to facilitate lessons from the ANT SCHOOL.

A- AMBITIOUS
N-NETWORKING
T-TENACIOUS

AMBITIOUS: It is a strong desire to do or to achieve something, typically requiring determination and hard work.The Ant has a vision and a goal to have a good  life, they are considered as ambitious and hardworking  for they build their own houses with different chambers used for nurseries, food storage, and resting places for the worker ants etc; it teaches us to compartmentalize every aspect of our lives and not just our houses, provide room for God, family, friends, bosses, collleagues and make sure you balance it all while pursuing  your goals and ambitions.
Ants are also intuitive, they do not wait for the king to tell them what to do, they just do what seems right and sensible to them; i think it is called 'Common Sense'


NETWORKING: I was studying an ant a long time ago and i was fascinated about what i saw, an ant saw a dead cockroach and decided to take it home to munch but it was too big to be carried  alone, then something extraordinary happened, i saw the ant going away then i thought it has given up as he could not carry it all by himself but i saw the ant going towardsdifferent ants and touching them as if it was talking to them, all of a sudden they all followed him to where the cockroach was and they all carried it home.
 Networking is the  interaction with other people to exchange information and develop contacts, especially to further one's career.
 Ants communicate by touching each other with their antennae, Ants also use chemicals called pheromones to leave scent trails for other ants to follow. Ants are social insects, which means they live in large colonies or groups; all these tells us that if we had a big goal( even a small goal), we need help from like minds to bring to make it happen.

TENACIOUS: this is the tendency to keep a firm hold of something; clinging or adhering closely. An ant would rebuild his house even if it was destroyed hundred times, an ant would hold on to his food even in the rain,  wind or in an harsh sunny weather, never giving up till it get back home, so therefore, we need to hold on to our dreams and goals even if it seems as if the storm would never end.

HOLD ON! IT WONT BE  LONG, DON'T GIVE UP AND DON'T BE LAZY.
