THE DEAD END

I recall the time I lied always, at times I don't have to think about or arrange the lies before they flow out of my mouth then I use to commend myself on what a great liar I was but it came to a point where I got tired of always lying because I used lies to cover other lies then I ended up stuck and in trouble. Now I rely on  christ to help me stay truthful all the time and I know I would get to the point of perfection someday.

As long as you did what you felt like doing, ignoring God, you didn’t have to bother with right thinking or right living, or right anything for that matter. But do you call that a free life? What did you get out of it?  Nothing you’re proud of now. Where did it get you? A dead end.

 But now that you’ve found you don’t have to listen to sin tell you what to do, and have discovered the delight of listening to God telling you, what a surprise! A whole, healed, put-together life right now, with more and more of life on the way! Work hard for sin your whole life and your pension is death. But 

God’s gift is real life, eternal life, delivered by Jesus,
 our Master. Romans 6: 20-23 (MSG)

The word of God says, 'there is a way that seems right to a man but the end if the road is destruction'. May we turn from the way of destruction to the road that leads to eternal life in Christ Jesus.
