This morning, It was dark and I was looking for a shoe, I thought it would be easy to find it, thinking I could feel it to find it but I just couldn't get my hands on it. Then I realise I was holding my phone, so I unlocked it and the screen light as dim as it was, brought a great relief to me. What seems so lost was found immediately the light came on.

The light of the world is Christ, the eternal hope of all creation, the one whose presence darkness, evil and challenges can not comprehend. John 1:4-5 'in him was life and the life was the light of men, the light shines in the darkness and darkness can not overcome,comprehend, fathom, take over, extinguish or absorb the light.
When God said let there be 'Light', the light was to separate the day from night, to serve as mark for seasons, to give light to the earth and also to govern the day and the night. Genesis 1:14-18
As children of light, we are the light of the word, so we must walk in light discerning and separating good and evil, we get to understand times and seasons,let us also be light (life) givers and finally we must take authority because these are the reasons God created light for, to govern(Gen 1:18). Eph 6:8 says once we were in darkness but now we are in the light, we are encouraged to walk as children of light, cities set upon a hiill that can't be hidden.
