Juliet and Lilian were having a nice time chatting, playing and having fun. Juliet jokingly said she was going to have a life changing job next week. She had neither written any applications nor done job searches online. Nevertheless, a miracle happened! She got a life changing job. While she was in her office, her superior asked her into his office and informed her that the company had just opened a new branch and she had been selected by the board to work there. She was to resume there immediately as the branch head with her salary tripled, an official car and an apartment.
This story sounds so good right? Now, what was the force behind the words she had spoken that came into existence? Some may say it is a coincidence but I will say: We frame our worlds with the words of our mouth'. Proverb 13:3 says, "Those who control their tongue will have a long life; opening your mouth can ruin everything." The message translation says, "careful words makes a careful life, but he who talks carelessly ruins everything. "
The truth is that God has great plans for our lives but we can ruin everything with our ever opened and never closing mouths.
