When we walk with the lord and abide in his will , there is a joy that fills our hearts and souls, revitalising our mortal bodies, giving us hope, peace and joy.
What does it mean to walk with God? Genesis 5:24 'Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away.'
Literally, to walk with a person is to follow at the same pace with that person, going to a destination whether known or unknown by the follower . This was what Enoch did as he walked with God, I can only imagine how completely godly minded he was, for he has put himself aside and allowed God take the lead, Enoch walked to the extent that Enoch followed God to the ends of the earth into eternity, no one could find him anymore.
If we want to walk with God, we have to be beside ourselves and follow God all the way. May our lives be such that we walk with God hand in hand, pace by pace, step by step all the way.
