In the Storm

Yesterday as I was reading through the book of Hebrews, I got stuck at chapter 6: 18-19 " that by two immutable things,in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us. This hope we have as an anchor of our soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the presence behind the veil. " At this point the Hymn "Will your Anchor hold" kept playing in my heart and I haven't been able to take it off my head.
First out of five verses
Will your anchor hold in the storms of life,When the clouds unfold their wings of strife? When the strong tides lift and the cables strain,Will your anchor drift, or firm remain?
Will our anchor hold in the storms of life, when the cloud reveals it winds of strife. As much as it describe the fate of seamen in a terrible sea, who throws their anchor out to the ground for support, it still of us in our daily lives, when all we desire seems not to be forthcoming, when sickness takes the best of a family member and getting a job is a hurdle; when life is like a maze and the paths through are difficult to find, like a storm in the sea with no hope of survival and a great possibility of shipwreck. What will our song be, will our anchor drift or will it remain firm on Christ who is the rock?
I pray that our song shall be of the same words as the refrain of the hymn that; "We have an anchor that keeps the soul,Steadfast and sure while the billows roll,Fastened to the Rock which cannot move,Grounded firm and deep in the Savior’s love."
