When God wants to do something great, he prepares people for the task, for any task done without planning or preparation will likely fail. When there was about to be an ordination of a new queen in place of Queen Vashti, there was a plan in the book of Esther 2:3-4 (NKJV) says:
Preparation precedes presentation, and presentation precedes ordination.
There will always be a preparatory stage in in life, a person who is to run a race will exercise, train and act accordingly in preparation for the race. Hebrew 13:21 "May this God of peace prepare you to do every good thing he wants. May he work in us through Jesus Christ to do what is pleasing to him. Glory belongs to Jesus Christ forever. Amen."
When a woman is about to cook her meal, she will first get the materials needed then she prepares it by cutting, grinding, washing, cooking and so on until the meal is ready for consumption. God is doing the same work in us, preparing us for his purpose. For when God is preparing us, it is never easy or convenient for us but we have to go through the fire; Malachi 3:3 "He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; he will purify the Levites and refine them like gold and silver. Then the LORD will have men who will bring offerings in righteousness."
The preparatory stage; is the very painful fire stage , though it is a painful and difficult experience, yet it is the purification stage for the gold to emerge, for the food will soon be ready and we will be able to present ourselves as an offering of righteousness, which is a pure heart.
As women, I urge us not to be weary of our place of preparation for at an appointed time, we will be presented to the King; then our time for expression of our purpose just like Esther will come.
May God help us to fulfil his purpose, in Jesus name.
