Worship With Reckless Abandon

At times when I am burdened, heavy and weighed down, when all hope seems to be lost and expectations are not likely to be in view, and my soul is at the lowest state of depression, the feeling of being cheated by life wells up in my spirit almost tempted to ask 'where is that God, Who is so far away? My feeling is so much like David bursting out the words in Psalms 42:11.

When I reminded myself that God keeps promises , He  lifts up the poor out of the dunghill and set him in the palace to be the prince of his people, the God that never sleeps nor slumbers, my source and my strength; then my soul rejoices in the worship of his greatness, again and again he has done what no man can do.

In Psalm 5:11-12 David says;
 'But let all who trust in you be glad;  let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you.Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield.'

I said to myself 'Worship and rejoice for you will see God salvation, and God showed up in his strength and power. Now I know I have a God, who rise on my behalf anytime I call. Trust in the Lord and worship him for what he gives one, he gives to all.
