God can give us what we want even if it is contrary to his will just to make us happy in the interim but in the long run, it may not be good for us so the most important thing is to seek his will for our lives and stay in that will.
God's will may not look pretty from the onset but in the long run his will is just the perfect thing to happen to us. Let's endeavour to stay in his will for our lives and not waver.
