Sudden Disaster



Things happen to people all of a sudden and the reason is because they know not what tomorrow bring(Matthew 6:34). The Bible tell us  'not to Worry about it'. The eventualites that come all of a sudden could be Disasters , destruction, sickness or even Death; still the bible ask us not to worry(Proverb 3:25-26) ' Don't worry about the disaster or destruction that fall upon the wicked, for the Lord is our SECURITY, he will keep your foot from being caught in the trap.


From the latter text, we find that disaster and destruction will come to both the wicked and the
 righteous but the difference between them is this; as
 for the Righteous, God is her security, shield and protector even in the mist of it all. The blameless will be rescued from harm but the crooked would be
suddenly destroyed(Proverb 28:18).


Now the big question is what side are we on, the crooked or the blameless, the wicked or the righteous, the side we are affects our outcome. Some say when destruction comes they would quickly repent of their wicked ways but it has been shown that disaster will give no room for the crooked to repent because of the suddenness of the event.

let us withdraw from wickedness and stand on the lord's right hand side all the days of our lives. For he has promised to keep us from all evil.
